You should also check out the detailed project guidelines, to decide if you want to do that, based on our entire set of past exams & example projects.  The exams are just like our news analysis exercises, while projects (which take longer) use the sources and methods of our data analysis exercises.

To chose between exams and the project, and to see the whole story arc of this course, you can look ahead to the entire set of weekly exercises.  You should also look back periodically to see how far you've come over this brief semester.

Finally, you should click on the Canvas calendar, then on the "calendar feed" link at the bottom-right of your screen, so as to have all of the course-related events listed below also appear on your personal calendar.  That will help you see what's ahead as you plan each day, without having to open Canvas itself.
